What we do

More than "a helper who likes babies"

Caring for a newborn or infant is skilled, attentive work. We match on demonstrated experience — not a smile and a reference.

🍼

Feeding & nutrition

Bottle preparation, sterilising, formula and breastmilk handling, weaning onto solids, and allergy-aware meal prep.

🌙

Sleep & soothing routines

Safe-sleep practice, swaddling, settling techniques and a consistent day/night rhythm that helps babies (and parents) rest.

🛡️

Safety & hygiene

SIDS-aware practices, babyproofing, hand hygiene, and knowing the early signs of illness that need a doctor.

🧸

Developmental stimulation

Tummy time, sensory play and age-appropriate interaction that supports healthy early development.

👧

Sibling & family support

Frees parents to give focused time to each child and to themselves, and keeps the household calm.

🚸

Confident outings

Stroller handling, clinic and vaccination visits, and safe travel with a young child.

How we screen

Our newborn & infant matching process

A helper's CV rarely shows infant capability. We dig for it.

1

Profile intake

We learn your baby's age, feeding method, sleep patterns, any health notes and your parenting preferences — in confidence.

2

Experience verification

We check past newborn/infant roles, not just "childcare", and confirm the specific stage and situations the helper has handled.

3

Scenario interview

Real situations: a crying baby at 3am, a refused bottle, a fever at night. We hear how they'd respond.

4

Newborn-care toolkit

We brief the helper on safe sleep, a feeding/sleep log and a calming plan, and align them with your paediatrician's guidance.

5

Ongoing guidance

Check-ins after placement so the routine holds and small issues are fixed early.

Before you hire

Questions to ask at the interview

Use these to tell a genuinely infant-capable helper from a general one.

"Tell me about a newborn you cared for — what was a typical day?" Listen for feeding, sleep and settling routines, not just "playing".
"A baby won't stop crying and you've tried feeding and a nappy change — what next?" Look for calm, safe steps — not panic or force.
"How would you keep a feeding and sleep log?" A strong answer describes consistency and clear handover to parents.
"What are your safe-sleep practices?" Back-to-sleep, clear cot, no loose bedding — this is the differentiator.
"How do you support first-time parents without taking over?" Look for reassurance, clear communication and respect for your choices.
Why it matters

Why a general agency often falls short for infant care

Most agencies match on salary, nationality and "experience with children". For a newborn or infant, that's not enough — and the cost of a mismatch is borne by your baby.

⚠️

Generic screening

"Likes kids" is not "can settle a colicky newborn". We screen for the specific skill.

🔄

High churn risk

An unprepared helper burns out fast. Infant-trained matching reduces painful turnover.

❤️

Your baby's trust

The right helper becomes a steady, safe presence — not another transition to manage.
